Security guard found dead
Police yesterday recovered a hanging body of a security guard from an under-construction building at Tanti Bazar in the old part of the city.
The deceased was identified as Ariful Islam, 22, of Bera in Pabna.
Police said they suspected that Arifur might have committed suicide by hanging from ceiling fan with a rope.
Officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Salahuddin Khan said the body was recovered from a room on the ground floor of the under-construction building where he had been living as a security guard since February 1.
