Two fined for selling Jatka
A mobile court yesterday fined two fish depots Tk 10,000 on charge of storing and selling Jatka (fries of Hilsha).
The mobile court, led by Executive Magistrate AKM Rezaur Rahman, conducted a drive in Fishery Ghat area under Kotwali Police Station in the port city and fined Manik Das and Jahangir Hossain, owners of the two fish depots, Tk 5,000 each, said a press release.
A team of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab-7) assisted the mobile court during the drive.
