250 Yaba tablets seized, 6 held in Ctg
At least 250 pieces of Yaba tablets were seized and six young men were arrested in this connection in the port city in the last two days.
The arrested are Sahidul Islam Roman alias Gittu Roman, Azam alias Dail Azam, Alauddin, Nur Hossain of the city, Selim of Cox's Bazar, and Rahim Mollah of Teknaf.
Acting on a tip off, police seized a car carrying Gittu Roman and Dail Azam at Kuaish Road of the city's Oxygen intersection.
Following their confessional statement, police arrested Alauddin and Hossain along with 50 Yaba tablets and two guns from a rented house at Hazi Para around 3:00am yesterday.
Detective Branch (DB) of police seized 200 pieces of Yaba worth around Tk 80,000 in a drive at the city's Kalamiyan Bazar on Monday.
