20 'bombs' recovered
Police last evening recovered 20 identical tape-wrapped objects, suspected to be bombs, inside a paper box from a spot between Baitul Mukarram National Mosque and National Sports Council in the city.
Detective Branch (DB) Senior Assistant Commissioner Sanwar Hossain, also a bomb expert, said they were not sure whether those were bombs.
Deputy Commissioner of Motijheel division Anwar Hossain said, on information, police on duty in the area recovered the objects around 6:00pm.
