Nurul Hoque made Saarc CCI director

SM Nurul Hoque, former senior vice-president of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI), has been elected as the director of Saarc Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) for the term 2012-2013. Saarc CCI is the apex chamber of the national chambers of eight South Asian countries, including Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Maldives, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, says a press release. Its present executive committee is working under the theme “South Asia on Move: Building Bridge through economic cooperation”. At current, Nurul Hoque is the director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry and the vice-president of Bangladesh-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is one of the leading entrepreneurs in the country and had been the first vice-president of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers & Exporters Association.
