Agri varsity bans student politics
Sylhet Agriculture University (Sau) authorities have banned activities of all student organisations in the university till further notification.
All types of rallies and processions were prohibited, said the Sau Registrar Faizul Haque after issuing the notification yesterday afternoon.
The decision was taken as the students of animal husbandry and veterinary science department, mostly Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men, took out procession and went on the rampage on the campus on Thursday night. They also misbehaved with some teachers.
