1,785 Yaba tablets seized, 2 arrested
Rab men arrested two drug peddlers and seized 1,785 pieces of Yaba tablets worth Tk 7.14 lakh in separate drives in the port city and Cox's Bazar early Sunday and yesterday.
The arrested are Rafique and Khadiza Khatun.
Rab personnel arrested Rafique from Sea View Residential Hotel at Kolatoli road in Cox's Bazar Sadar Police Station area yesterday and recovered 1,385 pieces of Yaba tablets there, said a press release.
In another drive, Rab men arrested Khadiza Khatun and seized 400 pieces of Yaba tablets from Rasel's Colony in Aturur Depot in the port city at around 8:00pm on Sunday.
