Sunil Kanti Barua
Sunil Kanti Barua, a retired chief accountant of Pragati Industries Ltd and father of journalist Prabir Barua, passed away at his Mogoltuli Baruapara residence in the port city at around 8:45pm on Saturday due to cardiac arrest at the age of 78.
He left behind his wife, one son and a host of relatives to mourn his death, said a press release.
His cremation was held at Chandgaon Buddha Moha Samsan yesterday evening.
