Missing boy found killed
Police recovered the body of a schoolboy from Shalikuna haor (a large water body) in Sadar upazila yesterday noon, a day after he went missing.
The victim, Mahbubur Rahman, 13, son of Maolana Zahir Ali of Sambadpur village in the upazila, is a student of class eight at Amtail High School.
Md Hanif, sub-inspector of Moulovibazar Sadar Model police station, said Mahbubur went out of house after a phone call by one Shipon on Wednesday at about 8:00pm and did not return to home.
Criminals might have killed the schoolboy as his hands and legs were tied, added the SI.
