Youth commits 'suicide'
A college student allegedly committed suicide over a family feud at Hajipara in Thakurgoan municipality area on Wednesday afternoon.
The deceased is Ishtiak Ahmed, 18, son of Idris Ali of the area.
Quoting family members, police said Ishtiak hanged himself from a ceiling fan in his room at about 1:00pm.
Locals said, Ishtiak had affairs with a girl whom he had wanted to marry.
A few months ago the couple fled their houses. The family members of Ishtiak sent the girl back to her parent's house promising to arrange marriage sometimes later.
A discord over the matter might has led to his suicide, they said.
