B'baria Imam murdered
Imam of Bisharabari mosque under Kasba upazila was murdered early yesterday. Victim was identified as Hafez Md. Abu Musa, 20, of Nandanpur Kalamuri village under Sadar upazila of the district. According to police, a gang waylaid Abu Musa while returning home after Lailatul Qadr prayers at the mosque at late night. They slit his throat and later dumped the body near Bisharabari graveyard. Police recovered the body and a mobile set from his pocket and sent the body to Brahmanbaria Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
