Criminal arrested with arms
A notorious criminal was arrested along with arms and ammunition in Arabpur area in Jessore town yesterday.
Rab-6 sources said, acting on secret information, they launched a drive and arrested Khaled Saifullah alias 'Boma' Ripon, main accused in sensational Sohel murder case, from his hideout.
The Rab team also seized one foreign made gun, three bullets, three bombs, two magazines, one sharp weapon and huge bomb making materials.
In Meherpur, Rab recovered two shutter guns from Gopalpur area in Gangni upazila Monday night.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of Rab-6 intercepted a bus at Gopalpur bus stand on Meherpur-Kushtia road and recovered the guns from inside the bus at around 9 pm.
