BNP leader hurt by party rivals
A former union parishad (UP) chairman, also a BNP leader, was injured as party rivals attacked him in Masumdia Sluice Gate area of Bera upazila yesterday, police said Shamsur Rahman, immediate past chairman of Masumdia UP, came under attack while he was coming to the area in the afternoon. He was admitted to Pabna Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
