Boy drowns
A 7-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Bazrahar village under Singra upazila yesterday morning.
Identified as Rifat Hossain, he was son of Rafiqul Islam of the village.
Local people and family sources said, Rifat was playing near a pond beside their house at about 09:00am. He suddenly fell in the pond and drowned as his parents were away.
