Lightning kills girl
Lightning killed a teenage girl at Satani village in Sadar upazila yesterday. The deceased was identified as Fatema Khatun, 17, daughter of Abdul Hakim of the village. She was speech impaired. Villagers said, Fatema Khatun went to bring cattle home from a grazing field near their house as it was raining in the afternoon. A thunderbolt struck her there leaving her dead on the spot.
