Man gets life for murder
A court here yesterday sentenced a man to life term imprisonment for killing his brother-in-law.
The convict was identified as Alamgir Mia, 25, son of Farid Mia of Kadma village in Nabiganj upazila.
The court also fined him Tk 5,000, in default, to suffer one year RI more.
According to the prosecution, Alamgir Mia hacked his borther-in-law Shahel Mia,17, to death on March 9, 2009.
