Old man hacked to death
Criminals hacked an old man to death at Natun Bazaar Dawlat Kha village in Kalkini upazila early yesterday.
The deceased was identified as Mohabbat Ali, 60, of the village.
Police quoting family sources said a gang called Mohabbat out of his house at about 2:30am and stabbed him to death in the nearby area.
Local people found his body beside a crop field early in the morning and informed police.
Later, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy.
