Date expired energy drinks seized
At least 3,666 bottles of date expired energy drink were seized in Joypurhat yesterday morning.
Acting on a tip-off, a mobile court led by executive magistrate of Joypurhat Muhibur Rahman raided M/s Fizu Stores in the town yesterday noon and recovered the energy drinks of various brands including Tiger, Dragon and Sidr.
The mobile court fined shopkeeper Md. Mostafizar Rahman Tk.35,000. In case of failure to pay the fine he will have to undergo 6 months jail.
