Robbery in Laxmipur
Robbers looted 200 tolas of gold ornaments from a jeweler's house at Shakharipara in the district town early yesterday.
Police said cutting the collapsible gate and then breaking the door open, a gang entered the house of Apurba Lal Roy, owner of Protima Alankar House, late at night.
They took the house members hostage at gunpoint and decamped with 200 tolas of gold ornaments.
