DCC man killed in Patuakhali
An employee of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) was killed by the members of his family at Mominpur village under Baufal upazila yesterday morning. The victim was identified as Siddiq Munshi, 35. Police said there was a long standing dispute over a piece of land among brothers and sisters of Siddiq. When Siddiq came home from Dhaka at about 9:30 am yesterday, his brother Faysal Munshi, 28, and sisters Nahida, 26, Sumi Begum, 24, and Alotaz Begum, 18, jointly attacked him with sharp weapons leaving Siddiq dead on the spot.
