Drug peddler jailed
A mobile court sentenced a drug peddler to one and a half years imprisonment in Sadar upazila yesterday. A team of narcotics department led by Inspector Milon Mukherjee arrested the convict, Md Obaidullah Morol, 45, of Taluigachha village in Thanaghata area of the upazila and recovered drugs from his possession at around 10:00am. The drug peddler was produced in the court of Executive Magistrate Mushruba Ferdous. After hearing, the court sent him to jail.
