15 shops gutted
At least 15 shops were gutted in a fire at Mrigi Bazar area under Pangsha upazila of Rajbari on Wednesday night.
According to Pangsha Fire Brigade sources, the fire originated from an electric short circuit at a shop and soon engulfed other shops at around 11pm.
The damaged shops included grocery, tin, rod and cement, small jute godown, mobile phone, clothes computer. Pangsha fire brigade estimated the loss caused by fire at about Tk 15 lakh.
