Five outlaws arrested in Pabna
Police arrested five underground operatives in Ataikula upazila of the district early yesterday.
The arrestees are Shaheb Ali, 30, Md Delwar Hossain, 32, Panchu Sheikh, 26, Ajmat, 32, and Hannan, 41. They belong to outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-Janajudhho) faction.
Acting on a tip-off, law enforcers from Ataikul Police Station raided Chatrar Beel (water body) area at around 5:00am and arrested the five.
Md Sirajul Islam, officer-in-charge of the police station, said special drive in five unions of Ataikula upazila is going on to nab the outlaws. Police have so far arrested 13 operatives, the OC said.
