Two commit 'suicide'
Two people, including a sexagenarian woman, allegedly committed suicide in Thakurgaon and Comilla on Tuesday and Monday.
In Thakurgaon, Shushila, 65, daughter of late Bolai Roy of Ladabari village in Sadar upazila allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room on Tuesday morning, reports our correspondent.
The reason behind the suicide could not be known immediately. A UD case was filed in this connection.
In Comilla, Jyotsna Begum, wife of Shah Alam, allegedly took poison as her impertinent son tortured her over a trifling matter at Kaziatal village in Muradnagar upazila on Monday, reports UNB.
She was rushed to Comilla Medical College Hospital where she died after sometime.
