Boy drowns
A four-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Purba Tarapasha in Kishoreganj Sadar yesterday.
The victim was identified as Alamgir Hossain,4, son of Hossain Ali of Bhatisavar village in Nandail upazila.
Locals saw the floating body of Alamgir in the pond at about 9:00am. The boy might have fallen into the pond while playing nearby, locals apprehended. Police recovered the body and sent it to Kishoreganj Adhunik Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
