'Outlaw'on remand
Police on Tuesday remanded a hardened operative of outlawed PBCP Janajudhha for three days.
Earlier, Pabna DB police arrested Nistar Ali alias Jahid from Shukchar village of Pabna Sadar upazila on Monday night and recovered a SMG (sub machine gun) and 55 bullets from his possession.
The Judicial Court of Pabna Sadar granted three days remand following a prayer by police for the same, said sub-inspector Hipjur Alam of Pabna DB police.
Jahid is the prime accused in triple police murder case, said officer-in- charge of Bera police station Zillur Rahman.
