Outlaw held in Pabna
An outlaw belonging to PBCP Janajudhha faction was arrested with firearms and ammunitions from the remote shoal area of Sadar upazila yesterday.
Arrestee Mistar Ali alias Jahid, 45, is son of Easin Ali of village Shukchar in Pabna Sadar upazila. He is also one of the prime accused in the case for killing three unarmed policemen at Dhalarchar in Bera upazila on July 20.
Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Moazzem Hosain said, acting on a tip-off, a team of Pabna DB police raided Shukchar village on Monday evening and arrested Jahid.
Following his statement, police recovered an SMG (sub machine gun) and 55 bullets with a magazine from his possession.
