5 Shibir men held with books on jihad
Police in separate drives on Tuesday arrested five Chhatra Shibir leaders and activists with Jehadi books and leaflets.
Sudharam police arrested president of No. 9 Ward of Noakhali Pourasava Monir Hossain, 24, president of city sub-committee Waji Ulla, 24, and activists Hasan, 22, and seized some Jihadi books from their possession at about 10pm on Tuesday in a raid on a dormitory of Sonapur area of Noakhali Sadar
Meanwhile, Senbag police apprehended president of Senbag upazila Shibir Abul Kalam Gazi Kalu, 24, and president of Dumuria union Chhatra Shiir Abu Jaher Jahed from Jirua village with about 150 Jehadi books and leaflets.
