Ten shops gutted
Ten shops and seed godowns were gutted in a fire at Gazir Khamar Bazar in Sherpur Sadar upazila on Monday night. Fire service sources said the fire originated from an electric short circuit at a shop at around 11:45 pm and soon engulfed the nearby shops and seed godowns. On information, fire fighters from Sherpur rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze with the help of local people.
