Two commit suicide
Two people, including a housewife, allegedly
committed suicide in Golapganj and Balaganj upazilas on Sunday and Saturday. Police said housewife Kabirun Begum, 45, wife of Aziruddin of Mola village in Golapganj upazila took poison following a family feud Sunday morning. She was rushed to Sylhet Osmani Medical College and Hospital where she died at noon. In another incident, Motaleb Miah, 60, son of late Soyful Ullah of Noshiarpur village in Balaganj upazila took pesticides Saturday morning. He was admitted to the same hospital where he died at around 3:00pm. The reason behind the suicide could not be known.
