Boy drowns
A five-year-old boy drowned in a pond at Bowalmari village under Lalmonirhat Sadar upazila yesterday. Family sources said Reza, son of Jalil Miah of the Bowalmari village, went out of their house at around 1:00 pm and remained missing since then. As family members and neighbours were looking for Reza, they found his body floating in a pond near the house.
