Man killed over land dispute
A man was killed by his rivals over land dispute at Chankanda village in Sadar upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased was identified as Mosharraf Hossain, 45, son of Jonab Ali of the village.
Police said there was a long standing dispute over a piece of land between Mosharraf and his neighbors Fatik and Hakim.
As a sequel to the dispute, Fatik and Hakim attacked Mosharraf and killed him while he was catching fish in a nearby river early in the morning.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
