Man electrocuted
A house owner was electrocuted at Mathpara in the town on Monday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Jamal Hossain Gazi, 48, of Mathpara area in the town. Locals said Gazi came in contact with a live electric wire while he was setting up a water pump at his under- construction building. He was rushed to Munshiganj general Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
