Stabbing Two Students on Campus
SUST expels two BCL men temporarily
The authorities of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) yesterday temporarily expelled two Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists on charge of stabbing two students on the campus on October 10.
The expelled students are Chayan Barua, third year second semester student of food and tea tecnology department and Moshtaque Ahmad , third year second semester student of social work department.
The authorities also formed a committee headed by Dr.Elius Uddin Biswas, treasurer of the university to probe the incident.
“ Further steps against the two will be taken on the basis of probe report,”said Mohammed Faruque Uddin, assistant proctor of SUST.
The BCL men stabbed Mithun and Omar Faruque, students of master's of architecture department,.over a trivial matter on October 10.
Following the incident, Mithun and and Faruque submitted a complaint to to the proctorial body.
