Robbers loot two houses
Armed robbers looted cash and valuables from flats of two tenants of house owner Abdul Latif at Muslimpara village in Golapganj upazila earlySaturday.
Locals said a gang of robbers stormed into the house of Abdul Latif by cutting window grills at about 2am and entered the flats of his tenants Moulana Belal Ahmad, Imam of a local mosque and Sardar Ahmad.
The robbers took the family members of Belal Ahmed hostage at gun point and tied up their hands and legs with rope. Later, they looted 15 tolas of golden ornaments, cash and other valuables.
The robbers also entered the neighboring flat of Sardar Ahmed and looted gold ornaments and cash.
