Venison seized, 2 held
Forest guards arrested two poachers and recovered 38 kg venison from their possession at Sonatola village under Sharankhola upazila of Bagerhat district on Wednesday night. The arrestees are Nasir Hawlader, 32, son of Nehal Uddin Hawlader and Esharat Malik, 30, son of Amir Malik of the village.The arrestees were yesterday produced before a court that sent them to jail. Acting on a tip-off, forest guards conducted a drive at Sonatola village and arrested the two with 38 kg venison.
