IT job placement fair held
Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) and Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) jointly organised a 'Job Placement Fair for BCC Interns (9th Batch) 2010' on August 28.
The daylong event, which was held in BCC auditorium, was designed to build bridge between fresh graduates and IT companies.
16 leading IT companies of Bangladesh got this unique opportunity to receive internship applications directly from the candidates and conduct different selection processes of prospective candidates.
The participant companies were -- Systems Solutions & Development Technologies Limited, Solar Soft Ltd, Documenta TM Limited, iPAHolics Technobd Web Solutions (Pvt) Ltd, Deshmati Company Ltd, DataSoft Systems (BD) Limited, eGeneration Limited, Mediasoft Data Systems Ltd, ICE Technologies and Services Ltd, ICT Alliance, Star Host IT Limited, Spectrum Software & Consulting, CSL Software Resources Limited, Right Brain Solution Ltd.
More than 300 IT graduates from 50 education institutes which included public, private and foreign universities participated in the fair.
Md Jabed Ali Sarkar, director general of BCC, Md Enamul Kabir, secretary of BCC, Mahbub Zaman, president of BASIS, AKM Fahim Mashroor, senior vice president of BASIS and Forkan Bin Qusem, secretary general of BASIS were present at the fair.
