Missing schoolboy found murdered

A schoolboy, who went missing from Sabujpara village under Debiganj upazila of Panchagarh district on Saturday, was found dead at an abandoned BJMC's jute godown at the village on Monday evening. The victim, Raju Chowdhury, 13, was a class seven student of Debiganj Nripendra Narayan Government High School. Police arrested Raju's stepbrother Dablu Chowdhury on Monday night following a case filed by his mother Zenath Rehena with Debiganj Police Station, accusing Dablu of killing her son. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Debiganj Police Station told this correspondent over cellphone yesterday that Raju, son of Shafier Rahaman Chowdhury of Sabujpara village, came out of their house at around 5:00pm on Saturday and since then he remained missing. As bad smell was coming from the godown on Monday evening, two boys entered it (godown) and found Raju's body lying on the floor, he added.
