Missing man found dead
Body of a missing man was recovered from under a bridge on Radhanagar Road in Goainghat upazila on Monday evening.
The deceased was identified as Alim Uddin, 45, son of late Zafar Ali of West Jaflong in the upazila. Local sources said Alim left his home on Saturday and did not return. He remained missing since then.
Locals found his slaughtered body under Chhoto Khel Bridge and informed police who recovered the body and sent it to Sylhet Osmany Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
