Cop murder: Another outlaw held
An outlaw and suspected killer of three policemen in the remotest Dhalarchar last month was held from the district's Rajbari border area on Monday night.
The arrestee was identified as Jaita Praksh alias Jaita Rafique, 45, of village Varai in Dhalarchar of Bera upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Bera police station Sheikh Zillur Rahman said, acting on a tip-off, police caught him from a hideout at Char Nagdaha village of Dhalarchar.
Outlaws shot dead three unarmed policemen at Daspara village on July 20. Police arrested 9 criminals earlier in connection with the incident. Rafique is one of the suspected killers of the incident, Bera OC said. He was later produced in the court yesterday, he added.
