Bomb attack on AL leader
Criminals hurled bombs at former chairman and AL president of Kumrabaria union Shamsul Haq, 57, at Shailmari village under Sadar upazila on Sunday night, leaving him seriously injured. Sub-Inspector (SI) Rezaul Karim of Jhenidah Sadar Police Station said an unidentified gang threw two bombs on Shamsul Haq while he was returning home at Dhupabila village from Shailmari Bazar at around 9:45pm. Locals took him to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital.
