Outlaw held with arms
Members of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) yesterday arrested an outlawed party cadre and recovered arms from him at Moyrmpur village in Daulatpur upazila in the district.
Arrestee Bayazid Uddin, 40, is son of Hazrat Mondol of Moyrampur in the upazila. He is a cadre of outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (PBCP-ML). According to police, a team of 32 Rifle Battalion raided the house of Bayazid at about 2:30 am and arrested him. Later, on his confession, BDR recovered a shutter gun, two bullets and two hand made bombs. The outlaw was later handed over to Daulatpur police.
