PM to open pvt power plant
Prime minister Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to formally inaugurate a private power plant at Fenchuganj in Sylhet at 11:00 am on April 3.
It will be her first visit to Sylhet since take over of power by the grand alliance.
Private plant Barakatullah Electro Dynamics has been supplying 50 MW electricity to the PDB's national grid since October last year. It was set up on a plot attached to the 90 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant of PDB by the Kushiyara in Fenchuganj upazila.
