Bogra Jubo League, BCL men sued by AL leader
Bogra Chief Judicial Magistrate yesterday ordered police to a record a case against 30 people including three leaders and workers of Chhatra League and Jubo League on criminal charges.
The order came as the Sadar police on March 23 did not record a case by district Awami League leader Md Shafiqul Islam Nayan.
The charges against the accused included firing shots from illegal arms while attempting to grab land of Nayan's wife Rabeya Khatun.
The accused include Chhatra League Bogra town unit general secretary Rabiul Islam Liton and Jubo League leader Munna.
In the case the plaintiff alleged that he suffered a loss of at least Tk 67,000 due to criminal activities by the accused.
