Sound pollution due to honking horns

The residents living around the Airport Road, Abdullahpur and Uttara have been suffering tremendously from sound pollution, created mostly by the honking of horns. It is almost impossible to sleep at night. Even children can't concentrate on their studies. From Airport Intersection to Abdullahpur, drivers honk horns almost all the time. There are schools and hospitals on both sides of this busy road. So, most of the sufferers are students and patients. The worst sound polluters are the long distance buses as they love to honk horns without any reason. This practice must be stopped.

We earnestly request the traffic division, DMP to take immediate measures to stop this malpractice by the drivers.
