Excluding Muslims from candidates' list

We learnt from various media reports that Aung San Suu Kyi's political party National League for Democracy (NLD) is excluding Muslims from its list of candidates for November's general election. It is totally unexpected from a person who was seen as Asia's Nelson Mandela. We hope Aung San Suu Kyi and the NLD give all qualified candidates a fair and equal opportunity to participate in the election instead of discriminating against their race and religion.
