References from Indian courts are presented here. But institutions in India are to a great extent non-politicised, especially the election commission is totally free from politics. Also in India, election machinery is almost foolproof from fraud and rigging. Without comparing these factors if only Indian court decisions are referred, then it will be grossly unjustified.

Law is not applicable for the present ruling party or the former ruling party in Bangladesh. Only we, the common people are bound to abide by the rules and regulations.

What is the crime that needed arrest? Criminals, murderers and corrupt (certified as patriot) people are not arrested. But editors, journalists and even academics who don't sing in tune with government are arrested.

Inciting killing in DU by invading DU halls and plotting to topple the government contacting with army personnel are sufficient reasons to arrest him.
