Four more suspected measles deaths reported, toll rises to 231

Four more suspected deaths from measles were reported in 24 hours till 8:00am today, bringing the total number of suspected deaths to 231.

The latest deaths were reported from Dhaka and Sylhet divisions, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

No new confirmed deaths were recorded during this period, leaving the total number of confirmed fatalities unchanged at 49.

During the same period, 115 new confirmed cases were reported, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 5,146.

Besides, DGHS recorded 1,170 new suspected cases in 24 hours, bringing the number of suspected cases to 38,301.
