1 more dies of confirmed measles in a day: DGHS

One more confirmed measles death has been reported in 24 hours till 8:00am today, taking up the total confirmed deaths to 31.

The death was reported from Chattogram division, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said.

The health directorate reporter another eight suspected measles deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the total suspected deaths to 168.

Six suspected deaths were reported from Dhaka division while one each were from Rajshahi and Chattogram.

During this time, 176 confirmed cases have been reported, taking the number of confirmed cases to 2,897.

Besides, DGHS recorded 1,105 suspected cases in the last 24 hours, taking the number of suspected cases to 18,129.
