Dengue: One dies, 329 hospitalised in 24 hours

At least one dengue patient died, and 329 others were hospitalised in 24 hours till 8:00am today, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The lone death was reported from areas of Dhaka South City Corporation.

With the latest death and new cases, the total number of dengue fatalities has risen to 28, while the number of cases has reached 8,979.

Currently, 829 dengue patients are undergoing treatment at different hospitals across the country, the DGHS said.
